Pendulum from the Empire period 1810 in gilded bronze with mercury representing Cupid with butterflies, a snake at his feet symbolizing the immortality of love. Very beautiful frieze of an antique basin with butterflies, quiver and torch entwined in a crown at the top of the terminal. Movement revised by watchmaker with pendulum and key. Very beautiful enamel dial, Directoire hands gilded with mercury (the purple reflections on the 3rd photo are due to a mirror effect...) Signed by the watchmaker Bergmiller in Paris listed in 1810.
