"Paris 1819-1838 - Pair Of Double Salt Cellars In Solid Silver And Crystal, Louis XVIII Period"
Pair of rectangular double saltcellars in crystal and 950 thousandths solid silver.
The frames are delicately adorned with friezes of pearls, interlacing and water leaves. The rectangular cups in cut crystal, probably from the royal crystal factories of Le Creusot, rest on two oval-shaped terraces joined by a rectangular terrace receiving an architectural grip completed by palm leaves presenting a ring. Each saltcellar rests on 8 chiseled silver feet adorned with palmettes.
