Manufacture Nationale De SÈvres, Circa 1874, Bust Of Christ In Biscuit Porcelain
Rare bust depicting Christ in biscuit porcelain by the Manufacture Nationale de Sèvres. It rests on a porcelain pedestal in the famous cobalt blue color, known as "bleu de Sèvres" enhanced with pure gold.

Busts representing Christ are extremely rare in the production of the Manufacture. Very few pieces are known and few are offered for sale.
