Louis XVI Style Marquetry Desk Said
Very beautiful desk called "happiness of the day" in Louis XVI style in marquetry mainly in mahogany and rosewood decorated with grooves and brass finishes, the upper part is a removable box composed of two glazed and beveled doors, in the center, a niche dressed in "a mirror. The lower part is an inlaid cylinder which encloses the desk part, the sliding writing desk, it is sheathed in black leather with golden patterns. Beautiful manufacture from the end of the 19th century and in good condition.
