Magnificent Radiant Sun Mirror House Ed. Imbert In Versailles Formerly Fisanne Blot Era Chaty
Magnificent sun mirror in gilded metal composed of turbulent rays in two rows adorned with beautiful carving. An iconic style typical of 1950s-1960s design. It is signed by the House "Ed. Imbert 52 rue de la parish à Versailles", successor of the former house Fisanne then Fisanne-Blot, this beautiful House specialized in mirrors-gilding and framing since the 18th century. We find its trace from the second part of the 18th century thanks to a lacunary printed label stuck to the back of the frame of a pastel: Miroiterie. Gilding. Supervision / Old Fisanne House. (...) OT / Founded in 17.. / Ed. Imbert. Succr / 52, Rue de La Paroisse / VERSAILLES / Supplier of the Palace of Versailles and the Trianons / of the City / and of the / Department. It is also found during the 19th century - thanks to the presence of labels on the reverse of various paintings - always at the same address, 52 rue de la parish in Versailles, preserved until its closure in the 20th century. A house of excellence that has survived the centuries... Dimension: Total diameter: 68 cm Mirror diameter: 22.5 cm at sight Good condition. It has its original suspension ring (see photos).
