Very rare SONGUE janiform stool from Congo measuring 40cm high for a maximum length of 36cm Bicole, enhanced with Kaolin, patina of use and old wear, the wood is very hard and dense This type of stool is extremely rare putting two masks back to back (a male with crest and the other female, without crest, according to Mestach's study in 1985) The Kifwébé masks represented on this stool belong to the secret group Bwadi Bwa Kifwébé.
