Comtoise Empire Parquet Clock With Columns In Walnut Rive De Gier

Authentic Grandfather clock, in walnut from the Empire period. It comes from the town of Rive de Gier in Auvergne. In very good original condition, natural patina, healthy wood, it is in perfect working order. It strikes the hours, bell gong. Decoration of the brass dial representing a baptism scene. The half-round pediment above the cornice can be removed so that the whole is less high. Its dimensions in cm: 61 x 31 height from 243 to 262 with pediment. (see last photo without).
