Gaston Cornil, born in 1883, is a French post-impressionist painter, illustrator and landscape painter. He paints lively rural and urban landscapes in gouache.
He is a student of Émile Dameron and Edmond Petitjean at the School of Fine Arts in Paris.
He exhibited at the Salon des Artistes Français from 1906 to 1939. He received a first medal in 1931.
