Charming little bronze bust from the end of the 19th century representing: The goddess Diane Chasseresse by the sculptor of Alexandre Falguière, a pupil of Albert-Ernest Carrier Belleuse and François Jouffroy.He will be first prize of Rome in 1859 with Léon Cugnot.
Bust with light brown patina on square marble base in very dark green color and light green veins. Signed on the back on the shoulder: A. Falguière.
It is in very good condition.
