Fireplace Plate With Arms Of Louise Charlotte Gaultier De Chiffreville (57x59 Cm)
Fireback, with a slightly curved pediment, from the 18th century, at the arms of Louise Charlotte Gaultier de Chiffreville (1719-1800), widow of Jacques Le Fournier who died in 1752, lord of Tilly and Hotot (Calvados). Suzanne Blondel sells in 1701 the castellany of Tilly to Jacques Le Fournier father, whom she married on February 12, 1706. Jacques, second of the name, their son, having no descendants, his three sisters and his widow then sell the fief to jean Francois d'Orceau, baron de Fontête in 1759. Coat of arms: Ecu on the right: azure with a gold chevron accompanied by three human busts of the same. Left shield: Gules a La Croix anchored Argent, bound in saltire Azure. Marquis' crown, cartouche bordered by a widow's cord. Its weight is 50 kg.
