Baluster-shaped Scottish silver coffee jug resting on a circular base. The body is embossed with flowers and foliage in the George IV style, finished with a turbulent and pinched contour neck. The hinged lid is finished with a spinning top grip. The handle has two attachment points, with insulators. Sterling silver; 925/1000 Scotland around 1829, Edinburgh Master Goldsmith hallmark: on the body, engraved in all letters SCOTT Height: 23.5 cm Length: 19.5 cm Weight: 714 g Very good condition / trace of welding at the hinge attachment point / collar Without bumps or scratches.
