"Pair Of Plates, Chinese Imari, Eighteenth Century."
The decoration of these two beautiful Chinese porcelain plates is called Chinese Imari. The floral decoration treated in polychrome uses two colors, red and blue as well as gold highlights, very stylized and directly inspired by the porcelains produced in the Arita ovens in Japan, it will take, like the latter, the name of Imari decoration. . They both have very small scratches and one has a very slight barely visible crack. Eighteenth century period. Diameter 22.3cm
