Chest and flintlock pistol with hammer safety, Louis XVI period, 18th century. Scottish-style pistol, flintlock system with its flintlock, in perfect working order. Hammer safety mechanism at the rear of the hammer. Chest plate decorated with dog engraving. Walnut stock with neat finish, squared and carved with a shell on both sides. Retractable trigger in the trunk, exiting when cocking the hammer. Round barrel, removable by screw and key for loading the forced bullet, smooth barrel interior.
