French work, second half of the XXth century Large oil on Canvas representing the Village of "Vetheuil" located in a bend of the Seine, the village is renowned for having been the setting for the stay of Claude Monet, impressionist painter who painted there about 150 of his works. Work exhibited at the Salon d'Asnieres, stamp of the company of French artists of 1957, exhibition label on the back of the work with title and other information.
