Le Colporteur De Marionnettes - oil on panel XIXth century (split in the center) Rare by its subject, the little puppet peddler made demonstrations in the villages, in fact we see in the back of this boy appearing two puppet heads and a drum, and at its belt stands a curved metal rod. By activating this metal rod the pretty slide puppets and all this to the rhythm of his instrument.
