An animated and original subject for this oil on canvas by the painter born in Bordeaux Charles Réal. The work in good condition, represents a spectacle of acrobats on the Old Port of Marseille with the famous bell tower of the Church of Accoules and the Transbordeur Bridge in the background. The work which is signed lower left is offered in a modern American box-type frame mounted on a plexiglass which measures 70 cm by 85 cm, and 54 cm by 65 cm without the frame. Member of the Salon d'Automne, he exhibited there often, and the Center Pompidou has two of his works (Scene of Fishermen and Woman in a Café)
