Beautiful animal painting created by Carl (Karl) Pischinger (1823 Streitdorf / Lower Austria - 1886 Liezen / Styria). He studied at the Academy of Vienna and was well known in Austria as an exceptional animalist and landscape painter. Works by him can be seen in the Austrian National Gallery "Belvedere" and in other museums.
