Coconut Rise Silver

Silver mounted coconut. Very nice copy. From the mid-18th century. Flanked by an escutcheon and two silver medallions. One bears the effigy of Emperor RODOLPHE II of the Holy Germanic Empire and the other bears the effigy of RODOLPHE DE Habsburg king of Germania. The cup rests on three legs and the edge is circled in silver. Two very beautiful restorations on the coconut shell dating from the early 19th century. This coconut was probably the patriarch's drinking cup. The diameter of the coconut is quite large: 13 cm. Height: 12 cm The coconut is fully engraved, Weight: 286 gr. Good condition.
