Pair Of Important Apparel Armchairs In Henri II Style, Renaissance, Solid Oak Fabric
Very important pair of Renaissance style armchairs in solid oak. This sumptuous pair of ceremonial seats rest on turned and fluted legs, joined together by a turned wood spacer. The armrests are decorated at their ends with stylized animal heads. The richly carved and openwork backrest is worked with plant and fruit motifs, the top is decorated in its center with a cartouche framed by two fantastic birds holding fruit in the beak. Our armchairs have a trim in good house condition and are covered with a Genoa velvet fabric in shades of red, diamond point studded finish.
