Period late 19th early 20th.
Goldsmith's hallmark with the initials R M and a star, under one of the handles.

The Roux-Marquiand silversmith is a Lyon house created in 1856, specializing in the art of the table in the Louis XV or Louis XVI style. She essentially worked for the bourgeoisie and the government. Roux-Marquiand is among the last survivors of the place despite two bankruptcy filings.
