Roman Pillar Base
Romanesque pillar base, carved stone 38 X 28 X 28 cm. Early in the Romanesque period (10th / 11th century), this stone was the base of a pillar, certainly of a cloister or a church. Square section for the base part, then rounded off with a small step on each side. Weight: very very heavy! ... Grouped in my photos under the generic term "garden pebbles", I am going to be selling these days a series of sculpted stones from different eras. Taking into account the material, no shipping: collection on site in Pau by your transporter by appointment, possibility of delivery on a Pau-Biarritz axis. Do not hesitate to ask us for photos or additional information by email or phone. Other photos and many other objects in our stores in Pau and Biarritz and on our website: galerielhoste.com.
