Bust Of Young Woman From The Eighteenth, Caffieri Spirit, Nineteenth Terracotta
Beautiful bust of a beautiful presence, in terracotta from the 19th, of a young woman in the 18th century under Louis XV, in the spirit of Caffieri, represented magnificently wearing her hair back with curls hanging over the back of the neck and the left shoulder, her face is slightly smiling.
At the top hangs a small bouquet of spring flowers. The shoulders and neckline are superbly dressed in a drooping drape, with rich lace emerging to the right. Across one shoulder a descending ribbon hangs the drape with a rich miniature brooch in relief representing a man's face with a wig and ponytail, undoubtedly the love of this young woman. Bust made placed on a pedestal in Morello cherry marble from the Pyrenees. Bust in perfect condition with a beautiful discreet patina.
