Polychrome porcelain and gold soup plate decorated with a seagull with outstretched wings, in full.
Edges hemmed with a golden net, with slightly scalloped shapes.
Manufactory of the Royale Copenhagen.
Around 1950
The seagull decor was created by Fanny Barde Bing & Grøndahl was a Danish porcelain manufacturer founded in 1853 by the sculptor Grøndahl and the Bing brothers, merchants. In 1987, Bing & Grøndahl merged with the Royal Porcelain Factory to become Royal Copenhagen.
