Pair Of Majolica Vases With Lustre Decoration, Italy, 1970s–1980s
A pair of glazed ceramic vases with a metallic luster, made in Italy and dating from the 1970s–1980s. The sculptural body features a slender shape with a fluted pedestal base, a rounded belly, and a tapered neck, topped by a wide ring-shaped handle. The glaze, with its brown-gold metallic sheen, displays shades ranging from bronze to copper, typical of the third-firing technique. Traces of green/turquoise glaze are visible inside the rim.
