"Porcelain From Worcester England Period 2nd Half Of The Eighteenth Century"
Porcelain from Worcester England period 2nd half of the 18th century. Hard paste porcelain plate. Shape: Slightly hollow round with flat wing and marli and plain border with 6 notches. Decor: Said "with Chinese furniture" painted on covered with polychrome enamels enhanced with gold in the style of the "Green Family". This rich decoration inspired by the Chinese production of the Kangxi period (1662 - 1722) is magnified by a quality gilding (in perfect state of conservation, and without wear). Note: European productions from the 18th century, executed in the style of China or Japan, are highly sought after, and their value often far superior to their models from the Far East.
