Louis XVI Period Barometer-thermometer
Louis XVI period barometer-thermometer in carved and gilded wood decorated with doves in laurel foliage, two aquatic vertebrates, rockeries, drapes and acanthus leaves. It is centered with a dial with the inscription "Par Binda A Nangis", under the dial a thermometer in a rectangular reserve. It has the tubes for mercury at the back but does not work. Wear of time to the gilding . Louis XVI period Height 104 cm x Max width 48 cm.
