Late XVIIth century
Any control punch but 2 striches, on the pedestal and inside the hanap body (these marks were made using cracked wheels to attack the material to be controlled, and thus to be able to check if it was only silver plated on brass base. This also made to extract fine chips to touch them -using a touchstone and various reactive acids)
This model for the body is very simple, with 2 groups of successive rings highlighting the ewer's doucine and a delicately underlined pouring spout.
The handle is itself discreetly chiseled on the upper socket and the low attachment (vegetable and leafy decoration)
Very rare solid silver example, many pieces having been used in this period for coins factory and to collect precious metals for economic purposes.
The model seems to me possibly Spanish origin (it comes from a private collection in Mallorca)
