Freemasonry Dish 1792

Large enamelled earthenware dish.
Decoration in high relief composed of the motto "VIVE la NATION 1792" with the Phrygian cap in the lower part from which two oak branches rise.
The upper part of the wing is decorated with the level surrounded by three stars.

This dish was reproduced on the front page of the cover of the antiques magazine "Trouvailles" around 1985 to illustrate an article relating to Masonic antiquities.
