He was admitted to the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Paris in 1905. Grand Prix of Rôme in 1908, second Grand Prix in 1912.
Exhibited at several Salons, including the Salons des artistes français, where he won a gold medal in 1930. An honorary member of the Société des Artistes Français, he was awarded an honorary diploma at the 1937 Exposition Internationale des Arts et Techniques in Paris for his four steles adorning the façade of the Languedoc-Pyrénées pavilion.
