Pair of large early 19th century Empire candelabra in gilded bronze and green patina with antique finely chiseled allegorical decoration depicting griffins forming a tripod base adorned with large gilded and openwork palmettes receiving pine cones and bindweed, the fluted shaft is ends with five lotiform sconces animated by palmettes and a top vase in the center. Good condition. Dimensions: 53 cm high X 22 cm wide.
