Beautiful Transition style jumping chest in rosewood. It opens with two drawers on the front. Marquetry decorated with lozenges, Greek and checkerboards. Large bands in blackened wood. Ornamentation of bronzes: locks with knotted ribbons, pull handles with profiles, apron and front hooves. Uprights with cut sides, arched feet. Period early 19th century.
