Georges Gobeau dit Gobo (1982-1958), first apprenticed to a printer, was passionate about drawing, lithography, watercolor and painting.He created his first etching in 1907.He exhibited his etchings in regional and national fairs and at the gallery owner, Georges Petit. His paintings and drawings will be presented at Bernheim Jeune and Durand -Ruel between 1916 and 1925. He will make many trips to Europe and North Africa from where he will bring back many works and will share his life between Douarnenez and Angers.
