Superb and elegant pair of Louis XV style flat back Louis XV style armchairs from the XVIIIth century They are based on 4 arched feet ending in a volute, linked together by a scalloped and molded belt. Finely carved whip armrest adorned with a scroll at the end. Large flat backrest rounded at the top and fully scalloped and molded all around. All the woodwork is weathered in a water green color and the armchairs are stuffed with damask fabrics in the same tones, showing wear. Large and elegant armchairs in very good condition, they are very comfortable and solid.
