Portrait, oval-shaped pastel of a young woman with sketched decoration. signed dated lower left - F. Gremailly 1874. Ferdinand Gremailly 1849-1907, architect and artist. Only known portrait of this artist to date. He exhibited at the Salon of French Artists in 1876, also participated in the construction of the Casino de Paris and the Carnavalet Museum has a work of Napoleon in silhouette.
