It is rare to find pairs of vase by this artist Émile Simonod he was born in Isère in Dolomieu in 1893 died knocking in Savoy in 1977. he first began with painting and exhibited in Lyon in 1922 he then went to work as Pottier in Cognin. In 1926, he moved to a pottery workshop in Chambéry and the Savoyard industrial pottery art company was created. He used enamels based on metal oxide and the company was very successful until 1935 when he then devoted himself to painting.
