Lovely pair of silk paintings depicting palace scenes animated by characters. Many decorative details adorn these scenes, furniture, bench, coffee table, shelf, stools, cricket cage, vase of flowers ... The clothes of the characters are finely executed and their faces particularly expressive. Probably dating from the second part of the 19th century, they have remained in excellent original condition. Each is illustrated with a poem and signed with a red stamp.
