Rare writing case in gilded and lacquered bronze.
The dark green lacquered base supports two notched nib holders in front and behind two gilded bronze inkwell holders.
The inkwells have molded and gadrooned bases on which are fixed three winged caryatids in sheath.
They are joined at the top by a gadrooned and beaded molding retaining cut crystal cups.
Ogine gilding, beautiful carving, wear on the lacquered base.
