Important gilt and chiseled bronze cage clock in Louis XVI style. The enamel dial decorated with flowers and with Roman numerals signed by Lemerle Charpentier 8 rue Charlot in Paris is inserted in a glass cage and surrounded by flowers and gilt bronze ribbons. The bronze base on 4 glides feet. France around 1880. (beautiful gilding of the time, small chip on the beveled glass of the bezel and scratch on the enamel dial number VIII)
