Oeil Roman, grand fragment de vitrail du XII ème siècle
Artist: Ecole Française Du Xii-xiii ème Siècle
This stained glass window although fragmenatire, illustrates well the stylistics of the stained glass window at its beginnings, Roman, pre-Gothic. The interest of this piece also consists in the original size of the head. It must have been a central figure on a bay. Both abstract, and with a very marked design, this almost archaeological object is very well base (15x12cm) on a plexiglass sun base which makes it very luminous.
