Marble Sculpture Italy XVIIeme
White marble sculpture of a man carrying a child in his arms. Surely Saint Joseph carrying the infant Jesus in his arms. Maybe Italy, 17th century. You can admire the details of the clothes on the hands through the hair on the entire sculpture and on all its faces. Everything is of extreme finesse and elegance. Benevolence emerges from the face of Saint Joseph. The head of St Joseph has been glued together.
