Charming Napoleon III style fire screen or spark screen. It is in bronze with golden patina adorned with a decoration of acanthus leaves around the edge and a Louis XVI knot medallion in the middle of the wire mesh. The legs are thin but long enough allowing the stability of the whole. The bronze is blackened and stained in places. Period early twentieth.
