Magnifying snuff box depicting Voltaire in profile surrounded by the titles of his works. Beautiful profile of Voltaire in the last years of his life, his face a little emaciated but smiling. François-Marie Arouet, dit Voltaire, born November 21, 1694 in Paris and died in the same city on May 30, 1778, is a French writer, philosopher [n 1] and businessman who marked the eighteenth century. Beautiful original condition, a simple cleaning and waxing of the box has been done. For collectors!
