Very beautiful pair of Louis XVI style candlesticks in gilded bronze. Base decorated with a ram's mascaron in the middle with medallions with cherubs on the sides and the ends in thick acanthus leaves. The barrel is in urn with laurel falls in engagement. They light up with 5 sconces decorated with acanthus leaves. Difference in gilding between the two candlesticks. Napoleon III period circa 1860.
