The lozenge-shaped bronze vase with three coloured patinas, gold, silver and copper,flanked to each side by an elephant's head handle, signed Christofle & Cie. and numbered 929006.
After a design by Emile-Auguste Reiber, a similarvase is in the permanent collection of the Musée Cernuschi in Paris.
