Bronze Sculpture
Magnificent bronze sculpture of Sir Joshua Reynolds (1723-1792), well known as a British painter, printmaker and essayist.
Sir Reynolds specialized in portraiture and was the first president and co-founder of the Royal Academy.
This sculpture is signed on the terrace by Jean Jules Salmson 1823-1902, of Swedish origin, quickly moved to Paris to practice his art.
Some of his works can be found at the Musée d'Orsay as well as at the Opéra Garnier.
