Curious piece of furniture in chromed or nikellated metal with three stacked legs, partly dismountable.
Very stable and not very bulky, this piece of furniture is an interesting example of itinerant furniture from the entertainment world.
From family memory, it belonged to an actress as a singer who demanded that it be installed in each of her dressing rooms and this during each trip! The make-up artist could then do her job and the two people opposite could access the products kept in the drawers.
Unfortunately, the transport box has disappeared. This piece of furniture made certainly to order has certainly moved around but it is still in very good condition with all its complex functions including an absolutely amazing drawer block!
With its two distinct fronts, this chromed drawer block has been ingeniously designed to pivot around the central axis: on one side we discover in turn metal drawers with lapis lazuli knobs (a lapis pearl is missing, it is not very visible) and on the other side colored white marble shelves (one of which is missing).
One of the marble shelves pierced with 5 housings containing 5 pots of blown glass can be placed at the top and blocks the directional mirror in the center.
Above, the round marble shelf is fixed. The three mirrors are fixed on a rod adjustable in height.
Hinges with lapis lazuli knobs.
Various wears and shocks, weight 38 kg...all the same!
