Fragment Of Wall Hanging, 17th Century
Fragment of an embroidered wall hanging on yellow silk with silk and silver threads. The floral decoration is symmetrical and abundant, embroidered with stone stitch for the foliage and launched stitch for the flowers. The whole is very well made and the colors have kept their freshness. The border is original. Good condition despite wear on the bottom and in the silk spears. Rear lining added later. 17th century.
