Louis XVI Commode Between Two In Marquetry
Original and curious little Louis XVI chest of drawers in wood marquetry standing on 3 sides. Use of plum veneer for the most part but also acacia worked in standing timber for the filling of the frames, presence of various native woods for the nets adorning this chest of drawers. With its thick period marble with 2 flares at the back. Presence of the original locks as well as the bronzes on the 2 drawers. The 4 inlaid feet rest on bronzes.
