Toulouse-born Alexandre Serres is Garipuy's pupil at the Toulouse School of Fine Arts. He will be found regularly as an exhibitor at the Salon des Artistes Français from 1878. The Musée des Augustins has several works by him. Our table is probably a model for an order. Some very small accidents at the bottom left and a small hole at the top left.
