Pedestal Table After Adam Weisweiler
A Louis XVI style thuya burl pedestal table after Adam Weisweiler. The upper part consists of a circular top topped with a white marble surrounded by a chiseled and gilded bronze mold. The uprights with double columns imitate bamboo stems and are capped with children's masks decorated with grapes. They are connected to a triangular spacer with concave sides. The spacer supports a small circular tray in thuja burl surrounded by a chased and gilded bronze gallery and placed on a pedestal. The entire composition rests on three screw-down gilded bronze feet.
